Plaese find below a brief overview of some of the bespoke applications supplied by NSL.

NSL acoustic lagging can be installed to reduce noise breakout from ductwork systems for both internal and external applications. This product is generally used to attenuate sections of ductwork that cannot be treated by other means (e.g. by an installation of a silencer within the duct).

 Our standard lagging material comprises 50mm thick insulating slabs with a Class O fire rating and density of 100kg/m3. For external application, the lagging material is weatherproofed with venture clad sheeting, which can be painted to help camouflage the ductwork. Windows can be formed in the lagging material to provide full access to ductwork hatches.

Bespoke acoustic hoods/shroud can be fitted to the top of axial condenser units to achieve noise reductions of 3-5dB (depending on the application). The hoods of comprised of our standard 50/75mm acoustic panel constructions with melinex lining to prevent damage in external environments. This item has been designed to not disrupt the operation of the axial unit whilst providing a small amount of noise reduction.

Finishes typically include:

• Standard pre-galvanised mild steel.
• Polyester powder painted, available in various paint colours.
• Stainless steel.
• Specialist painted finishes when requested.

NSL can provide a range of roof cowls to suit all applications. We provide both off-the-shelf and bespoke options to meet airflow requirements and assist with noise reduction.

We offer a range of solutions to camouflage our acoustic products including the use of cladding and painting to help our materials blend in and/or meet specified planning requirements.
