Weather Louvres

Our weather louvres are designed from a robust, vandal resistance steel framework solution which is a perfect match for HVAC systems, high- and low-pressure visual screening and exterior cladding.

We also manufacture reverse bladed weather louvres allowing intake air into the building with extract being discharge out of the building, being mounted directly above without effecting the internal plant operations. The aerodynamics of this solution is designed to ensure minimal pressure loss throughout the system, saving costs and reducing internal footprints for plant layouts.

We generally manufacture louvres in several standard depths being 50mm, 75mm, 100mm and 125mm.

Typical application for these louvres may include external plant screening, fresh air intake and discharge outlets for ventilation systems, plant and equipment enclosures, façade cladding and weather proofing opening for natural ventilation of other systems. We also manufacture louvres for single or double door sets or another similar solution.

On systems where airflow speeds are greater than standard solutions, the louvre blades can be adapted to suit these requirements, still maintaining original noise levels, and improving pressure loss. These high velocity louvres still retain the robust structure of our standard louvres and remain vandal resistant.

When louvres are being installed on external faces of a building, metal picture framework can be provided to provide a clean and aesthetically pleasing solution. These picture frames can be provided in mitred corners and can be internally fitted so no external fixings are visible. We also have internal flange solutions.

Weather louvres being used in a screening, enclosure or self-supporting means can be provided with a structural supporting framework solution design for purpose and all other elements including wind loads.

We have software programmes that aid the selection of these products to ensure all elements are reviewed, as necessary.

Standard weather louvres are rain resilient and have been vigorously tested and all our performance data is provided with the confidence you can trust.

Weather louvres can be provided in many finishes and can include:

• Pre-finished galvanised sheet steel
• Polyester Powder paint to any standard RAL colour
• Plastisol

We generally provide on the internal elevation, bird guard, insect mesh or acoustic / blanking panels, as necessary.

The fixing methodology is simple and effective to ensure the aesthetic appearance is maintained. Louvres are generally manufactured in modular sizes to aid and reduce installation time and make installation more cost effective.
