Building Regulations Compliance

Building Regulations Part E (Resistance to Sound) sets out airborne and impact soundproofing standards for new homes and conversions. It provides performance criteria and design advice for both internal and separating walls and floors.

• pre-works/investigative sound insulation testing to establish the sound insulation performance of existing partitions prior to conversion works;
• Design advice to ensure Part E requirements can be met;
